Laura is a Romanian attorney-at-law (Bucharest Bar) and lecturer (University of “Nicolae Titulescu”, Law Faculty, Bucharest). Specialised in EU law, international law (with emphasis on human rights) and international arbitration, she has worked in several international law firms where she acted as counsel for numerous international clients. She also advises clients on matters relating to Romanian law.
She studied law in Romania at the University of “Nicolae Titulescu” (Bachelor – 2002-2006, Master in Business Law 2006–2007, Ph.D. 2010-2014) and at the University of Bucharest (Master in Public International Law 2010-2011). Besides Ph.D., she holds an MBA from CNAM Paris in association with ASE Bucharest (2013) and an LL.M. from Universities of Fribourg, Bern and Neuchatel, Switzerland (2014 – while in Switzerland, Laura was selected to be an intern in the prestigious law firm LALIVE, Geneva, in the International Arbitration department).
Laura regularly publishes articles in national and international legal journals. Additionally, Laura is a guest speaker for the Romanian-Bulgarian summer programme organized by CIFE (Centre international de formation européenne), where she lectures on international human rights law.
Laura has full professional proficiency in Romanian, English and French.
