Ksenia is a young professional of a Russian origin, who has recently found her home in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She holds a Bachelor in International Relations, Political Science, and Human Rights from Saint-Petersburg State University in collaboration with Bard College. She is currently pursuing an LLM in Law and Politics of International Security at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Over the years she has held positions of a research intern at Human Rights Watch, a research associate at Public International Law and Policy Group and an editor at Amsterdam Law Forum. Ksenia is passionate about international humanitarian law, transitional justice and human rights, more specifically LGBT and children’s rights, as well as migration-related issues. She thrives in an interdisciplinary, multicultural atmosphere of talented and motivated people, which is why she is happy to be an editor for the IWB.
